Who would you rather trust with your life,
the family dog or a politician?

Art, Photography, Books, Music, Services, & Hotels
for the Mind and Spirit:
Mid-Century Deaths All Linked to CIA.— Odd deaths linked to Olson case and CIA.
JOEL AGEE.— IN THE HOUSE OF MY FEAR: The finest, most fascinating memoir written in decades.
New Olson Related Article.— Frank Olson's wasn't the only odd suicide that involved the CIA and the Federal Narcotics Bureau.
Overlooked Evidence in Olson Case.— A July 2001 article containing details of overlooked evidence in the Olson case.
Additional Olson Case Article.— Evidence in the Olson case builds.
Las Vegas City Life Review of THE HEAP.— Jarret Keene writes, THE HEAP "will easily make my Top-10 list for the Best Speculative Fiction of 2005."
HOTEL ISIS— The best hotel in all of Florida... paradise on the beach...
CENTER FOR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS.— CCR is a non-profit and educational organization dedicated to protecting and advancing the rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Their work is extremely important, especially in the context of current events in this country. Please support them, they deserve all the help they can get.
PETER LEVENDA'S SINISTER FORCES— Peter Levenda's book is a must read for anyone seriously interested in the dark sides of American politics and history.
JACK O'CONNELL.— Jack O'Connell is a superb writer and the Grand Master of Quinsigamond, the not-so-imaginary setting of four of the best novels ever written: BOX NINE; THE SKIN PALACE; WIRELESS; and WORD MADE FLESH. The Seattle Times said of O'Connell's books: "Mesmerizing... light years away from your garden-variety thrillers." O'Connell's dark visions dangerously intersect with reality in a post-industial world gone mad. Some reviewers have dubbed his work, "Hyper-real noir." Others call it "Neon Noir." James Ellroy wrote, "Imagine Kafka writing The Maltese Falcon." Decades from now O'Connell's book will be on every must-read list. Rumor has it that his new book, THE TOMBS, will be out soon.
Anthrax Article— In light of the Ivins case...
Human Rights Watch & Street Children.— The number of street children worldwide keeps getting higher and higher each day, and the violence against street children by government authorities and their horrendous expolitation by adults becomes more and more commonplace. Human Rights Watch is one group doing something about the multiple problems surrounding street children.
AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL.— Amnesty International is a worldwide movement of people who campaign for internationally recognized human rights. AI's vision is a world in which every person enjoys all of the human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights standards. It's a vision we should all share.
The Frank Olson Legacy Project.— This is the website maintained by Eric W. Olson, Frank Olson's oldest son. In numerous ways, it can be regarded as Conspiracy Central because of its slew of very real to completely erroneous theories concerning the odd death of Frank Olson, the CIA, and other subjects. Much to the credit of Eric, who steadfastly over the past decade has conducted a cottage crusade centered on his father's death, some of the more outrageous theories have gained ground, a few even taking in legitimate journalists who were drawn to the story. At the same time, biochemist Frank Olson has been elevated in some circles to a rank resembling that of a patron saint, a man who some would have us believe experienced a Michael Corleone-type life-change and wanted out, this despite that he devoted his entire professional career to devising new, better and more exotic ways to kill and seriously injure people with covertly administered doses of biological and chemical agents. It may be a modern day clichι, but the phrase "What a long, strange trip it's been" more than aptly applies to the Olson story. No pun intended.
HOTEL LE SAINTE-BEUVE.— There is no other place to stay when in Paris. France's best boutique hotel. And the people that work there are delightful and fully committed to making your stay a highly enjoyable one.
JEN HUPPERT.— Simply put, Jen Huppert is the best book cover designer in the Unites States.
MUNDOVIBES.— A wonderful site for great new music, artists, and CDs that you won't find anywhere else. Mundovibes is a global base that features musical genres that range from roots music to contempory urban and electronic music. Mundovibes is especially involved with music that melds "tradition with technology" and music that is "part of a social or political culture." The legendary J.C. Tripp is Mundovibes' editor.
PERCEVAL PRESS.— Here you can find wonderful and beautifully produced books by Viggo Mortensen & others.
Award-Winning Anthrax Article.— My World Net Daily article about secret anthrax tests conducted in the 1950s in a New Hampshire textile mill by scientists from the Army's Fort Detrick.
Coalition To Stop the Use of Child Soldiers— The Coalition to Stop the Use of Child Soldiers works to prevent the recruitment and use of children as soldiers, to secure their demobilisation and to ensure their rehabilitation and reintegration into society. This is not easy work. Help support their work.
Hotel George— The hippest hotel in all of Washington, D.C. Wonderful rooms, great restaurant and bar.
